Project description (in brief):
The consulting service is conducted in Cao Bang and Bac Kan. The objectives are to enhance knowledge of staff at provincial and district levels regarding management and planning for the poor to more effectively and better manage health financing areas for the poor in the project sites of Cao Bang and Bac Kan.
Practical work done by the institution’s staff:
- Assess the training needs of managerial staff at provincial and district levels in the project sites
- Develop appropriate training modules focused on: health economics, financial health, the state budget for health and financing policies for the poor and social beneficiaries in health care, health insurance and medical human resource management for selected staff at provincial/district levels
- Conduct capacity building training for managerial staff in the project sites related to the following modules of health economics, financial health, state budget for health and financing policies for the poor and social beneficiaries in health care, and medical human resource management.
